ABOUT LINDSAY

Lindsay first discovered yoga as a teenager using VHS tapes to flow and meditate at home. After years of spine and hip pain caused by her Division 1 collegiate athletic career, she found hot yoga and was stunned by the transformation in her body. Since then, she's maintained a love for the tranquility and challenge of a regular yoga practice, especially as a counter-balance to the demands of being a partner, mama, and small business owner.

Lindsay began teaching in 2011 and couldn't be more thankful for how it has enriched her life. She enjoys the experience of connecting with people new to Yin yoga and skeptical about its fit for them, and helping them to find an experience with Yin and meditation that keeps them coming back to the mat. She also loves working with students seeking to apply yoga and mindfulness meditation as medicine for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, and with teachers that want to deepen their repertoire by learning to teach Yin.

Lindsay owned and taught at Mindstream Yoga in Fort Collins, CO for 9 years before closing the brick and mortar studio in 2020 to focus on her passion for Yin and Yinsanity’s online studio. She has over 500 hours of training, including 300+ hours with Tiffany Cruikshank, founder of Yoga Medicine.

You’ll find Lindsay living and working in Fort Collins, CO along side her man RT Custer and their two little boys Sawyer and Wesley. When she’s not teaching, she runs a successful marketing agency focused on helping grow women-owned small businesses.
